Geo.X, a partnership between universities and research institutions in Berlin and Potsdam covering geoscientific disciplines from planetary science to deep biosphere, is inviting applicants from the social sciences, particularly STS for 16 Young Academy positions (3-year PhD or 2-year Post-Doc) on “Geo.Society”.
Applications have to include a short research proposal combining geoscience and social science. The interdisciplinary Young Academy provides inter-institutional collaborations, interdisciplinary supervision, specialised training courses and soft skills training. It includes a travel support programme.
Application deadline is on April 29, 2019. Anticipated start date is September 1, 2019.
