You have obtained a doctorate with above-average success and already demonstrate initial experience in the dissemination of your research in the field of the professorship, preferably with sustainability aspects, through international publications in recognized peer-reviewed venues. Your research is characterized by the development of statistical methods, e.g. in extreme value statistics, spatio-temporal modeling, data integration and integrated data analysis, modeling and analysis of environmental and/or climate data, uncertainty quantification and monitoring of environmental and/or climate data. Experience in obtaining competitively awarded external funding and participation in research projects is desirable. Additionally, you will have the potential for teaching excellence.
