This summer 2022 the RUSTlab is back with its 7th round of RUSTlab lectures and you are happily invited.
Feel free to join us on the respective dates from 14:15-15:45 hrs UTC+2 (convert time at https://tinyurl.com/47acefuf) on campus or live on Zoom!
This term’s guiding theme is: “Data Traces”
What are data, but traces? Traces of breathing life, of long-lost beings, of the smallest movement or of the largest universes. We’ll think about data as traces and how we find them; traces that are inscribed into technology, translated and accumulated.
28.04.2022 Rebecca Carlson (Tokyo University): Bioscience as a borderland: Cells, infrastructures, and code in translation
12.05.2022 Anton Poikolainen Rosén (Södertörn University, Sweden): More Than Human-Centered Design in Urban Farming
30.06.2022* Janna Z. Huang (CAIS & Berkeley University): The Accumulation of Affordance for Global Data Centers (*lecture time changed to 16:15-17:45 hrs)
